Tea tree shampoo for dogs and cats, and pets in general, is an excellent cleanser which helps to treat a number of non specific skin and coat conditions. Tea tree is suitable for all coat types in that if the coat is too greasy the shampoo will balance the oil out and vice versa if the coat is too dry and the skin is broken or dry it will help with itchiness, cooling the skin and dehydrating the animals' coat.
If you have a dog you might consider using dog disentangler and conditioning lotion in conjunction with the tea tree shampoo for the best results. This will help to repel dirt, grease and static and will leave the coat with a long lasting shin.
